FAQ & Services
F.A.Q.
The best place to start is with an initial consultation, either in person or virtually. This appointment takes 1 hr 15 min and allows me to get to know you as a person in order to come up with the best treatment plan possible.
Read more about what you can expect below, under ‘initial consult’.
A naturopathic doctor’s toolkit is very extensive! Depending on your health complaint(s) and personal preferences, one or more of the following may be recommended: supplements, acupuncture, exercise therapeutics, physical therapy (IMS), and counselling.
Well first of all, even as a trained professional, supplement shops/aisles at grocery stores feel overwhelming! The options are truly endless between brands and types of vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc. Instead of the shotgun multivitamin-for-all approach, a ND will help you find the exact supplement that may be most helpful to you based on your specific health concern. On a final note, supplement quality is important and therefore most ND’s have their own dispensary in order to ensure quality and safety for their patients.
There are several differentiating features between ND’s. The main one being what services we are able to provide. Although there are no “specialists” among ND’s, we will each provide services and do continuing education courses in the areas we, as individuals, are most interested in. So while one ND may focus on cosmetics, offering facial rejuvenation treatments and selling skin care products, another may offer IV’s and prolotherapy. It all depends on how much extra training the particular ND has done in terms of what we have to offer. Another thing to consider when looking for a ND is personality. Working with someone who you feel comfortable with will make a difference, especially if you plan on being their patient for life!
Currently, I am not certified in performing injection therapies (ex. IV or prolo) and/or have prescribing authority.

Initial consult
duration: 75min
fee: $235
I’d love to learn about your complete health history! As NDs, we have the privilege of spending ample time with our patients. I will ask you questions about various systems in your body, including digestion, cardiovascular health, respiratory function, musculoskeletal concerns, etc. We’ll also discuss your nutrition, sleep patterns, stress levels, relationships, and energy levels—all crucial pieces of the larger puzzle that is your health.
If a physical examination is necessary, we will schedule an in-person follow-up. Additionally, if needed, I may refer you to another healthcare practitioner for imaging or blood work. This starts the journey toward a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan that will adapt and be reassessed as we continue to work together.
All new patients must complete an initial consultation to ensure you receive the best possible care. Virtual initial consultations are also available.
Follow-up
acupuncture
duration: 45min
fee: $130
Based in the principles of eastern medicine, also referred to as traditional asian medicine (TAM), an acupuncture protocol is established. In order to determine the right protocol, a TAM diagnosis is made by asking more questions, examining your tongue, and analyzing your pulse. An initial consult is required before starting an acupuncture protocol to ensure a proper protocol is established. Following the 90min initial consult, acupuncture sessions are 45 min in duration. It is recommended that a minimum of 4-5 sessions are had in order to achieve maximal benefit.
Follow-up
physical therapy
duration: 45min
fee: $130
Whether you’re a dedicated athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone with a sedentary desk job, bodily pain is a common issue. Naturopathic doctors are trained to perform orthopedic assessments to diagnose and provide effective treatment. My approach includes tools such as IMS, deep tissue massage, cupping, pin and stretch techniques, acupuncture with electrical stimulation (e-stim), and spinal adjustments.
Follow-up
exercise therapeutics
duration: 60min
fee: $140
I place great emphasis on exercise because I believe that movement is essential for unlocking both your body and mind. Conveniently located within a gym, we have access to rehabilitation equipment and ample space for movement.
For athletes, injury prevention is the ideal goal, but the reality is that I may be treating you after an injury occurs. Alongside hands-on physical therapy, I can provide rehabilitation exercises to help you return to your sport and extend your playing career!
If you’re new to exercise and want to learn how to train your body correctly, I’m here to help you get started!
Follow-up
counselling
duration: 45min
fee: $130
While many of my services focus on the physical body, whole-person healing also encompasses mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. As your naturopathic doctor, I provide a safe, judgment-free space to discuss your feelings. I can help address issues such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image concerns, and more.
If you’ve explored my services, you’ll see that NDs have a broad range of training. I also recognize that some topics may fall outside my scope of practice, and in those cases, I will make an appropriate referral. Ultimately, my goal is to help you achieve better health, whether that’s through my services or another practitioner.
Virtual counseling is also available.
